Who is Citycare?

Citycare is an award-winning Public Private Partnership (PPP), helping to transform the health and social care estate across the region. Established in 2004, Citycare brings local knowledge and an expert team together with national and international best practice.

Over the past 18 years, £120 million of new facilities have been delivered and maintained to the highest quality through Citycare, and in a socially responsible manner. Local people are seeing and experiencing the benefits on the ground from each investment, every day. In 2020 Citycare won Best Social Infrastructure Project in the prestigious international Partnership Awards, with the pioneering Jean Bishop Integrated Care Centre (ICC) built to transform care for frail patients in Hull.

The £9.5 million ICC was the first of its kind in the UK and has seen thousands of patients and care home residents pass through its doors since it opened in July 2018.
